1. Play with a Golf Pro

June 14, 21, 28 | July 12, 19, 26 | August 9, 16, 23, 30 | River Course

If you’re a golf lover, don’t miss the opportunity to spend a morning on the golf course playing with a member of Kiawah Island Club’s golf operations team. This friendly round of play welcomes players of all abilities. Your knowledgeable host will guide you through different shot types and offer valuable insights on course management strategies upon request. Participating in this event only requires applicable greens fees and transportation costs. Make sure to register in advance to secure your spot!

2. GoFamily Dive-In Movie Night

Wednesdays; June 14 through August 9 | 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. | The Beach Club

Join us at The Beach Club every Wednesday for a delightful family-friendly movie night. Dive into the pool and relax on a float or unwind on a comfortable lounge chair while enjoying a movie under the starry sky. 5. Parent/Child Tennis & Pickleball Tournament

July 1 | Tennis: 1:00 p.m. | Pickleball: 2:30 p.m. | The Sports Pavilion

Join us at The Sports Pavilion for a day filled with friendly competition and family bonding. Participate in the Parent/Child Tennis & Pickleball Tournament, where you can showcase your skills in both racquet sports. The tournament format will be determined based on participation, and prizes will be awarded to the winners in each respective division. No matter if you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, this event is open to all skill levels, and children aged 18 and younger are welcome to participate. Secure your spot by making a reservation, and get ready for an exciting day of sportsmanship.

6. Red, White, & Boom!

July 3 | 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. | River Course

Celebrate America’s independence in style at the River Course during our Red, White, & Boom! event. This casual and family-friendly affair promises an evening filled with entertainment, carnival rides, face painting, balloon animals, fairy hair, and other fun activities. Enjoy a mouthwatering selection of local food trucks and Club favorites, including your summer cookout classics. Quench your thirst with a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, and specialty cocktails.

The highlight of the evening will be a breathtaking fireworks display, so please bring your own blankets and lawn chairs as seating is limited. Reservations are required; don’t forget to pick up your wristbands at the Member Services office prior to the event!

7. Tom’s Kitchen Cooking Class

August 9 | 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. | Cassique

Calling all food enthusiasts! Join us at Tom’s Kitchen for a delightful cooking class led by the esteemed Chef de Tournant Kyle Schmidt, where culinary magic comes alive! Immerse yourself in a fun and interactive setting as you master the art of making tamales and salsa. After the demonstration, savor the delicious food you helped prepare. The class includes a plated meal and a glass of wine, offering a complete culinary experience. Be sure to make your reservations in advance!

8. Market on the Marsh

August 10 | 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Marsh House

Indulge in a delightful shopping experience at the Market on the Marsh, held on the Marsh House pool deck. Explore a variety of unique treasures from multiple local vendors while enjoying street food, seasonal mocktails, a milkshake bar, and live music. Admission is $55+ for ages 11 and older, $20+ for ages three to 10, and complimentary for children two and under. Secure your tickets and get ready for a day of shopping, delicious food, and entertainment!

9. Fishing Tournament

September 1 | 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. | Rhett’s Bluff

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a fishing enthusiast, join us for the ultimate fishing experience at Rhett’s Bluff. This action-filled fishing tournament is open to Members, their families, and friends. Get ready to compete as you navigate the Kiawah River in search of the biggest catch. The tournament includes a half-day charter, equipment, bait, boxed lunch, and prizes. Members who wish to use their own charter can participate for a discounted price, but will still receive a boxed lunch. Make reservations in advance, and note that cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a full charge.

10. Labor Day Sporting Clays Tournament

August 29 through September 2 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Kiawah Island Sporting Club

Put your shooting skills to the test in the Labor Day Sporting Clays Tournament. Held on the clays course, this tournament allows you to showcase your marksmanship. Compete against other participants and aim for the highest overall score to be crowned the champion. The tournament features five divisions: Juniors (ages 21 and under), Champions (ages 22 to 54), Veterans (ages 55 and up), Ladies (all women participants), and HOA (High Overall Score). Reserve your time slot on the sporting clays course as usual, and you will automatically be added to the tournament!

11. GoFamily Labor Day Dive-In Movie Night

September 2 | 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. | The Beach Club

Make the most of your Labor Day weekend with a family-friendly Dive-In Movie Night at The Beach Club. Bring the family and relax by the pool while enjoying a screening of the classic movie, The Parent Trap. The movie starts promptly at 5:00 p.m., so be sure to grab your food and beverages from The Shack and drinks from the Gazebo bar beforehand. Concessions will also be available for individual purchase. Join us for a memorable evening of cinema and relaxation!
