Star Spangled Celebrations at The Kiawah Island Club
The Kiawah Island Club offers a variety of events and family activities for Members to celebrate America’s Independence. On July 3rd, the highly-anticipated Red White & Boom annual event returned to the River Course. Families gathered on the driving range to enjoy some friendly competition with carnival games or seek thrills in rides like the Strawberry Spin or Mechanical Rodeo Bull. Members could cool off with a delicious signature cocktail and indulge in a sumptuous BBQ buffet spread with all the fixings, and a multitude of sweet treat selections. The Travis Allison Band took to the stage with some toe-tapping tunes inspiring many to kick off their shoes and dance on the lawn. The evening concluded with a stellar fireworks display that illuminated the summer sky.
For a more adult and elegant July 3rd experience, the Cassique clubhouse hosted an adults-only evening with their Light Up the Links event. The 5-piece swing band, The Joy Project, played while Members enjoyed tasty hors d’oeuvres, raw bar, and a variety of food stations to suit all palates. After sunset, attendees continued the celebration on the links with a dazzling fireworks show.
The festivities carried on into the following day with a Member favorite, The Beach Club’s July 4th Poolside Party with live music, games, and watermelon-eating contest. Kids made a splash diving for treasure in the annual pool coin toss before the grown-ups had their turn to compete in the adult beverage toss.
With so many events to choose from, the Club has something to offer Members of all ages and activities that are sure to make an unforgettable family holiday!
