Mark Your Calendars for These Upcoming Kiawah Island Club Activities

In just a few months, Spring will arrive, bringing some of the most beautiful weather of the year. And for homeowners with a Club Membership, there are plenty of family-friendly and adult-only Kiawah Island activities to look forward to during the season. 

From Easter brunches to poolside parties, let’s take a look at all of the can’t-miss private Club events coming up this Spring on Kiawah Island. 

1. Easter Fishing Tournament | April 15, 2022

This Easter, try your hand at reeling in a winning catch! Whether you are a fishing fanatic or a first-timer, the Kiawah Island Club invites Members and their family and friends to compete in our action-packed fishing tournament taking place on the Kiawah River. A variety of species of fish can be found in the River, including speckled trout, southern flounder, redfish, and more. Everyone will be sure to enjoy this exciting experience out on the water.

Competing anglers will meet at Rhett’s Bluff at 8:00 a.m. to go over tournament rules and get to know the captain. We will then head out to the River to begin the fishing competition.

2. Kids Zone | April 15, 2022

Additionally, the Kiawah Island Club’s Sports Pavilion will be hosting a kids-only event on April 15th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m for children between the ages of five and twelve. Each Kid Zone event has something different to offer from swimming to dodgeball and everything in between. Whether your child prefers relaxed movie nights or thrilling combat archery, there is a Kid Zone event they are sure to love! 

Dinner will be provided by a local food truck vendor with a selection of children’s favorites. Plus, while your kids are off having the time of their lives, you can enjoy a quiet evening in or a romantic dinner at one of the culinary spots around the Island. It’s a win-win! 

3. Easter Carnival & Egg Hunt | April 16, 2022

The annual Easter Carnival hosted by GoKiawah is back this year! From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., join Club Members and their families for an array of activities including an Easter egg hunt, carnival rides, prize-winning games, and more. To give children of all ages the best experience, the Easter egg hunts are divided into two age groups — five and under and six and older. The younger group egg hunt begins at 4:00 p.m. and is immediately followed by the older group. 

This family-friendly event also features carnival rides for all ages, balloon darts, ring toss, face painting, jugglers, a petting zoo, and other themed attractions. Conclude your evening with a buffet dinner along with carnival fare including hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and funnel cakes.

4. Easter Brunch & Dinner | April 17, 2022

On Easter Sunday, spend your morning dining with other Kiawah Club Members at one of our culinary establishments. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Marsh House will feature a buffet spread with delicious breakfast fare. Or, visit the River Room from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for their classic brunch stations that you know and love. Tom’s Kitchen and Patio will also offer a special Easter menu from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Then for dinner, B-Liner will be serving a seasonal Easter menu in addition to their regular menu. No matter where you decide to spend your Easter celebration, you simply can’t go wrong with these options. 

5. Havana Nights | May 8, 2022

For some adult-only fun, join other Club Members  for Havana Nights — a Cuban-inspired party at the Marsh House. Here, you’ll have the chance to salsa and mambo dance to Afro-Cuban beats under beautiful, sparkling lights. We will also have a section for guests to play dominoes, smoke complimentary cigars, and enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine. With a bounty of food, drinks, and dancing, what could be a better way to spend your evening?

6. Fiesta De Cena | May 16, 2022

On Monday, May 16th join us for a Mexican-themed dinner event. Fiesta de Cena translates to “dinner party” so be sure to bring your appetite! We will be serving pork tamales, chicken tacos, shrimp ceviche, and grilled Mexican street corn –– and who can forget the crunchy tortilla chips with assorted salsas and fresh guacamole. For dessert, we will have tasty cinnamon sugar buñuelos and rich chocolate chili cupcakes. Can you say “delicioso”?

7. Memorial Day Poolside Party | May 29, 2022

Splash into Summer vacation at The Beach Club Poolside Party on Sunday, May 29th. Experience fun for the whole family with live music on the pool deck, snow cones, jump castles, and more Kiawah Island activities! Club Members look forward to this private annual event all year long and we’re so excited it’s just around the corner.
