Our Team Jim Stuckey

A Clemson grad, All-ACC and first team All-American defensive end, Jim Stuckey played football for the San Francisco 49ers for seven years and earned two Super Bowl rings before joining the Kiawah Island Real Estate team in 1995.

His love for the Charleston area began during childhood visits with his grandmother, who was born and raised here. “For years I told myself that if I ever left the west coast, I would come directly to Charleston. I love being near the water and the quaintness of the city.” After he experienced the beauty of Kiawah Island, he moved here permanently.

Jim understands that buying and selling property on Kiawah Island is an important, emotional endeavor for his clients. “My greatest enjoyment comes from working as part of their team,” says Jim. “It’s wonderful to forge and maintain good relationships over many, many years. I love to help my clients see how Kiawah fits into their plans — whether it’s now or in the years to come.”

Friendly and outgoing, Jim is an avid sportsman who loves to golf. When not working with his clients, Jim enjoys spending time with his family and beloved black lab Mollie, and helping to support charitable organizations like Make a Wish Foundation.
