1. New Year’s Family Celebration at Night Heron Park

Ring in the New Year with family-friendly fun for all at Night Heron Park on Kiawah Island. This annual event brings friends and family together for a fun-filled evening of entertainment. With a full à la carte dinner service as well as jump castles, lawn games, and party favors, kids and adults alike are sure to have a blast. The evening wraps up with a spectacular firework finale lighting up the sky at 9 pm.

2. Wonderland New Year’s Eve Party

Celebrate the New Year with good food and good friends at the Wonderland New Year’s Eve Party. Hosted at Festive Hall, this event will include live music, a giant balloon drop, a champagne toast, and a cigar bar. So, dust off your dancing shoes and pick out your most festive formal attire, as this is one of the most sought-after Charleston NYE events.

3. Folly Beach Flip-Flop Drop & Fireworks

New York City may have a ball drop at midnight, but Folly Beach has the Flip-Flop Drop! When the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s, massive sparkling flip-flops will descend from the sky to mark the beginning of 2023. The celebration features local food trucks, live band performances, dazzling light displays, and a variety of children’s activities.

5. The Sanctuary Lobby Bar

Celebrate in style and welcome the New Year at The Sanctuary Lobby Bar. Here, you will enjoy specialty cocktails, wines, beer, and spirits, along with fantastic live music. Showcase your best dance moves as you toast the new year with a glass of champagne under the stars of the Grand Lawn.

6. New Year’s Eve Dinner at FortyEight Wine Bar & Kitchen

Welcome the new year at FortyEight Wine Bar & Kitchen with a three-course pre-fixe menu, beginning at 5 pm. Here, you’ll be treated to sparkling wine upon arrival, along with a variety of carefully crafted cocktails. In conjunction with the spirits, company, and laid-back atmosphere, you will enjoy authentic Lowcountry cuisine prepared by our five-star chefs.

A two-hour dining limit will be in place for this event to ensure all guests get a chance to dine with us on New Year’s Eve.

7. Kid’s Night Out: New Year’s Eve Bash

New Year’s Eve isn’t just for those of us 21 and up — Kiawah Island is pleased to host Kid’s Night Out: New Year’s Eve Bash! This event is to be held on December 31st from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am. During this time, children ages three to ten are welcomed at The Sanctuary Hotel to ring in the new year with a fun-filled night of swimming, pizza, and board games.
