made the transaction a pleasure. After vacationing with our family for 14
years in Kiawah, we have finally realized our dream of ownership. Our
experience was 100% positive. We are excited to begin our new Kiawah
lifestyle!

During the winter of 2005, my husband and I took a trip to Kiawah Island.
We wandered through the lobby of the hotel and ended up in the KIRE office
where we met Tricia Flanagan. She answered all of our questions about real
estate, and also told us about the island's history, ecology, boating
opportunities, sports facilities, and shared stories about the friends she
has made there. One day in the spring, Tricia called to tell us about an
opportunity to buy a lot that she felt had great potential. We drove down
to take a look and decided she was right! Now, two and a half years later,
we have sold our home in Naples and we have begun the construction of our
home on Kiawah Island. Tricia continues to help us find answers and solves
problems as we move forward. We don't feel that she sold us a lot so much
as she showed us all of the things that there are to love about life on
Kiawah Island. We can't wait to start enjoying it!

While I haven't met anyone affiliated with Kiawah Island Real Estate Company that I didn't feel was very professional and knowledgeable about the market conditions on the Island, my agent goes beyond this general standard. In getting to know my agent over these years we discovered that her relationship with me and my wife was not just in assisting us with real estate matters, but that of a much more personal concern for us and how we were doing. This includes staying in touch by periodically letting us know what was going on at the Island, cheerfully providing information or assistance with anything related to Kiawah Island when we asked, etc. As an example, our agent called to give us updated weather forecast during the tropical storm season and checked to see whether any outdoor furniture at your residence needs to be moved to a safe location! We have always felt comfortable and confident in any dealings with Cynthia and just as important to any prospective real estate customer, it is not because we demand any special treatment - it's because she believes in providing special treatment.

We listed our Kiawah Island property for six months with another broker, before we were smart enough to list with you once we listed with you, our property sold within two weeks and at a price that was higher than the original price we had listed with the prior broker. In addition, our property was sold at the asking price. Clearly, that more than covered any differential between your listing fee and the other broker's fee. Our only problem was that we waited too long to list with you! Thanks for all of your efforts...we couldn't be more pleased!
